Refund, Cancellation & Tax Policy
Matador Publishers' refund policy will be void if:
- You have selected a special package.
- The initial book or project concept has been approved.
- You have requested revisions.
- The cancellation is for reasons unrelated to our company.
- The company has not been contacted for over two weeks after initiating the project.
- Violations of company policies have occurred.
- Another company or designer has been approached for the same project.
- The project brief lacks essential information.
- A complete change in project design has been requested.
- The request for a refund is made after the designated time span.
- The business is undergoing a name change or closing.
- Refunds are not granted for reasons like change of mind, partner disagreements, or other unrelated reasons.
- If you purchase a service bundle and are dissatisfied with a particular service, the refund will apply only to that specific service, not the entire bundle.
- No refunds will be provided after 7 days from the purchase date.
- Services such as Social Media, SEO, Domain Registration, and Web Hosting are non-refundable under any circumstances.
- For web projects, no refunds will be given once the design is approved and the development process has begun.
- Clients are ineligible for a refund 24 hours after receiving the contract unless it is returned and signed within 48 hours.
Note: Matador Publishers reserves the right to reject any project or cancel the contract as deemed necessary. After a refund, you may not use any previously provided designs; they remain the sole property of Matador Publishers.
An order may be canceled within the first 7 days of purchase only for eligible reasons, as costs and resources have already been allocated. Eligible reasons do not include change of mind, disagreements with partners, or finding a cheaper alternative. A 15% cancellation fee applies if canceled within 24 hours; after 24 hours, the fee increases to 25%. Cancellation requests must be submitted by contacting the support.
All communication between Matador Publishers and the client should be documented through a registered email. For order delivery, the company will attempt to contact the client at least three times via the provided email. If no response is received after three emails over seven consecutive working days, the project is considered accepted, and no refunds will be issued. Additionally, if the client is unresponsive for 10 consecutive days, any money-back guarantees become void.
Matador Publishers reviews and upholds these policies at its discretion. Payments made by Visa, Master, and Amex are processed through our bank merchant services; we do not store card details for security compliance. Payments can also be made via personal or company checks and bank transfers. Payments via PayPal & Discover Card are processed by PayPal. All prices on our website are exclusive of applicable taxes.
Important Information
How long does it take to claim a refund?
Refunds can take up to 21 business days to process. The details of our refund policy are outlined in the Terms & Conditions.
Does the money-back guarantee apply to all packages?
The Money Back Guarantee applies only to our book design packages. Once a design is approved and further revisions are requested, the Money Back Guarantee becomes void. However, you will still be eligible for our 100% satisfaction guarantee, which ensures we continue to work on your project until you are satisfied.
Why does Matador Publishers provide a Money Back Guarantee?
We are confident in our ability to deliver high-quality book designs and offer a money-back guarantee to assure you of our commitment. This guarantee is given in good faith, and we expect the same honesty and cooperation from our clients. While most clients are honest and provide constructive feedback, a minority may exploit this flexibility by ordering designs from multiple providers simultaneously, and then requesting refunds, a practice we find unethical and detrimental. Unfortunately, if you engage in such practices, we must decline your business.
Book design is inherently subjective, and achieving the perfect design usually requires detailed feedback from the client. At Matador Publishers, we value customer feedback and involve them deeply in the design process. Initial designs often serve as a foundation for refining ideas, and through iterative feedback, we tailor our designs to meet client expectations more closely. The Money Back Guarantee is intended to protect you if we fail to meet your specific requirements.
Exclusions to the Money Back Guarantee:
The Money Back Guarantee does not apply to:
- Content Writing
- SEO Services
- Marketing Support Services
- Telephone Services
- Publication
Additionally, this guarantee does not apply to design agencies, studios, or individuals commissioning work on behalf of their clients.
Note: Customers seeking a refund are prohibited from using any initial design concepts provided. All rights to these designs remain with Matador Publishers until payment is fully received.
